About Mrs. Max Your Travel
Hello, I'm your average busy mom and wife with a more than average appetite for globetrotting. The travel bug had been planted in me very early by my environment though I didn't fully appreciate it when I was younger. As I matured and started really exploring and valuing those experiences I realized that I've embarked on a journey that will shape and enrich my lifestyle for a long time. I passed my travel addiction on to my husband and the rest is as much a history as it is an exciting present and future that our family is stoked to share.

I decided to start this blog to document some of our family and personal travels, experiences, tips and tricks in hopes to inspire, motivate and smooth the path to a globetrotting lifestyle for anyone else interested in exploring it. I am doing it because it's fun to document and share your travel :-) , but what also prompted me to create this site is the fact that too many of our friends, acquaintances and folks we meet every day ask us very basic travel questions. Questions, that to my surprise hold them back form what they'd obviously like to be able to do more.

My husband and I were lucky enough to travel quite a bit before starting a family and now that we have a couple of rugrats we've managed to maintain our ambitious vacation goals and although not without its obstacles share this blessing with our kids. Traveling often and keeping it affordable especially once you have kids can be a challenge but it's very much like planning for your financial well being. It starts with a plan. Of course a plan is never enough if it's not properly executed. So hopefully this site will motivate you and help you at least a bit in creating and following your own max affordable travel plan by learning from our experiences as a couple before and after kids.

For starters, you'll probably agree that terms like "maximize", "often" and "affordable" are very relative and mean different things to different people but perhaps that's the question I would ask you to pose to yourself before you explore my blog as I continue adding content on this site.
